The Difference
Year after year, CREVIER BMW has earned the distinction of being the most awarded BMW dealership in the United States. And, from the beginning, CREVIER BMW has stood out from the competition with a unique business approach of treating everyone like family and steadfast commitment to supporting the community. Throughout the years, the late Bob Crevier and Don Crevier have been actively involved with several of community outreach programs and giving back to the community that has been so wonderful to them is a true labor of love.
Don Crevier is passionate about educating children. He advocates helping kids feel better about themselves so they will make good decisions in life. With this in mind, Don founded the Earning for Learning program at Pio Pico Elementary School and has been recognized by the Partners in Education program at Rancho Santiago Community College.
Community Support
Don serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach, Orange County On-Track, OC Human Relations Council, and the Rancho Santiago College Foundation. In the past, he has served on Boards for the Laguna Playhouse, the Kid's Club of Laguna Beach, the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Ana, and the Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce. He actively supports student mentoring programs for Career Beginnings and On-Track. In addition, Don also serves on the O.C. Sheriff Advisory Council, O.C. Probation Community Action Association, and the O.C. Motor Car Dealers Association.
CREVIER BMW supports many local high school and college sports programs, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, The Shea Therapeutic Riding Center, Drug Abuse is Life Abuse and the DARE programs, OC Youth Foundation, Hoag Hospital Foundation, Pretend City, Human Options and the American Heart Association.
Don Crevier has been honored to have received the following recognitions:
*School Power Hall of Fame for his contributions to that organization for more then 28 years
*Rancho Santiago Community College District 1st Annual Partner in Education Award (1999)
*Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award (2006)
*Center of Excellence Award (2001,2002, 2003 and most recently 2009) This prestigious award is only given to the top 30 BMW centers nationwide and winners are choosen in the basis of communtiy service, customer care and extraordinary customer satisfaction
* The 2007 Business of the Arts Award
*The OC Human Relations Award (2005)
*The Citizen of the Year for the Laguna Beach Exchange Club
In 1971- Family owned CREVIER BMW was founded by brothers Bob and Bill Crevier. At that time, the BMW was a rather obscure automobile with a small but loyal following.
In 1974- Don Crevier, Bob's son, joined the company as a sales manager, becoming a partner in 1975.
1980- by this time CREVIER BMW was selling and leasing 500 BMWs a year, ranking it as one of the top sales leaders in the state. Today they sell or lease more new and pre-owned BMWs then any other dealer in the Western United States.
In November of 1987, CREVIER BMW moved from its original location to a spectacular new 52,000 square-foot, 5 acre dealership in the Santa Ana Auto Mall, in 1988 became the largest volume dealership in the Americas.
In 1999- Bob Crevier was presented with the "Ethics in America" award. This program was co-sponsored by Chapman University's Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics and the Orange County Chapter of the American Society of Professionals who demonstrate a code of conduct that includes honesty, integrity and compliance with the law in all business dealings. Winners also demonstrate ethical business standards to employees, as well as consistent commitment to high quality services.
In 2009 CREVIER BMW ranked the 3rd on the Ward's Dealer Top 500 List. According to Steve Finlay, Ward's editor, "Dealers who post such impressive numbers are the best of the best. They are doing things right with their customers, striving to attract new ones and keeping return customers happy. These dealers are good in all facets of the business." The list is based on annual revenues, sales and customer service among thousands of dealerships nationwide. Both Bob and Don Crevier are recipients of the Time Magazine "Quality Dealers" Award.
Today the dealership features one of the West Coast's largest inventories of new and Certified Pre-owned BMWs as well as one of the few MINI franchises in Orange County. CREVIER BMW now sells over 4600 new and pre-owned BMWs a year to maintain the number one ranking for sales among BMW dealers in the Western United States.
